When BIOCOM, California’s largest life science association needed to create an online learning system for their member companies, I was approached. My team and I created a sophisticated LMS which received awards from the California State Legislature in Sacramento.

The need to equip current (or yet to be hired) workers with the business and science savvy needed to achieve tough performance goals was at the center of this endeavor. I worked closely with industry practitioners to create courses summarizing key concepts and labored with the team to deliver it all in an easy-to-navigate system. Just-in-time professional development was delivered in an anytime, anywhere state-of-the-art blended learning and collaborative platform.

This 3-year project included the branding, design and build of a comprehensive learning management system and the creation of 100+ courses (in science and business) across 5 certificate programs (including quizzes and downloadable resources). Hundreds of video clips were scripted, filmed, edited, and uploaded to augment the user experience. This multi-faceted project also included marketing and communication to more than a dozen state-led life science trade associations, several colleges, and hundreds of companies.
